Please save your shoeboxes. At this time the Missionary Group is asking only for shoeboxes saving one for yourself to fill at a later time. Some people may want to donate things for the shoeboxes but will not have a shoebox so you can help out in this way. More information about what is wanted to put in the shoebox.

PACKING YOUR SHOE BOX

SHOE BOX- Use an empty standard size shoe box or small plastic container. You can wrap the box (lid separately), but wrapping is not required. Pray for the child who will receive your gift.
BOY OR GIRL- Decide whether your gift will be for a boy or a girl and the child's age category: 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14. Use the appropriate boy/girl label. Mark the correct age on the label and tape the label to the top of your box.
FILL WITH GIFTS- Fill the box with a variety of gifts that will bring joy to a child (i.e. school supplies, toys, hygiene items, etc.). These can even be purchased at the local dollar store! You can also include a personal note to the child who will receive your gift.
INCLUDE YOUR DONATION- Please donate $7.00 or more for each shoe box you prepare to help cover the shipping and other project costs. Your donation can be given to a Florence Rowland member on one of the collection Sundays.

* You may also simply provide financial donation if you would like to participate without making a box.

MBC Collections will be November 8 & 15.
